Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time role serving Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The OT will perform home visits, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and develop individualized intervention plans to promote safe, independent living at home.

The position requires an MD OT license and typically at least one year of OT experience. Prior home care experience is preferred, with opportunities for training and career growth within BAYADA's

Qualifications

• Maryland OT license required.
• Minimum of one year of recent OT work experience.
• Graduation from an OT program accredited by AMA/AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ functional status and ADL/IADL performance.
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor aspects and develop intervention plans.
• Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Document observations and interventions using a touchpad tablet.
• Educate patients and families in rehabilitative care and activities.
