Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full‑time role servicing seniors in Baltimore County, Maryland. The OT will visit clients at home and work within a multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing, enabling clients to remain at home.

Qualified candidates have Maryland OT licensure, at least 1 year of recent OT experience, and the ability to work independently with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Maryland OT license required.
• Minimum one year of OT experience.
• Home care experience preferred.
• Graduation from an OT program accredited by AMA/AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform evaluations of patients’ functional status, including ADL/IADL performance.
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor aspects and develop intervention plans.
• Evaluate home environment for hazards to independent living.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Continually assess and revise the OT care plan with the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families in rehabilitative care and activities.
• Document observations and interventions using a touch pad tablet.
