Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation in Herndon, VA is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities. You’ll help patients improve mobility, independence, and quality of life through our Geriatric House Calls™ model.

Clinicians have autonomy over their treatment schedules and can incorporate telehealth and virtual care to extend access and flexibility while delivering meaningful outcomes in the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Valid OT license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Occupational therapy to older adults in homes or senior living settings
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, deliver evidence-based treatment
• Deliver therapy sessions that support wellness, mobility, and independence
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists)
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place
• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access
