Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation in Fairfax, VA is seeking passionate, licensed Occupational Therapists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in private residences or Senior Living Communities. You’ll help clients improve mobility, independence, and quality of life through our Geriatric House Calls model, with flexible scheduling and the option for telehealth when appropriate.

As part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, you’ll evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based therapy, educate patients

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Occupational therapy to older adults in homes or senior living settings
• Perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment
• Deliver therapy sessions that support mobility, independence and functioning
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness)
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access
