Brightstar Care of Acton / Andover and Lowell is searching for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our home care team in Lowell. In this role, you will provide in-home occupational therapy services aimed at helping individuals improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their independence.

Qualifications

• Current valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience, with home care experience required.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ functional abilities and therapy needs in the home setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs and safety.
• Provide hands-on therapy and educate clients and families.
• Recommend and train clients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of evaluations and progress notes.
• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care.
