Job summary

Working Nurses Healthcare seeks an Occupational Therapist to meet patients in their homes, assess mobility needs, and craft personalized therapy plans. You will coordinate with the patient’s care team to arrange follow-up care and educate on lifestyle changes for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Must hold the state license for occupational therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals
• Work closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress
