Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Home Healthcare Team in Northern California's Bay Area. You will provide in-home therapy, supervise a COTA, and collaborate with a clinical team to deliver patient-centered care.

We offer full-time or part-time/per diem opportunities with a competitive benefits package and a $2,500 hiring bonus for full-time staff or $500 for part-time, paid after initial milestones.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master's or Doctorate).
• Active California Occupational Therapist license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes.
• Home Healthcare experience.
• Experience documenting in the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy evaluations and treatments according to the physician's plan of care.
• Assess patients' strength, coordination, mobility, and ability to function safely at home.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and progress.
• Help patients improve independence with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, mobility, and home safety.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safe movement.
• Document evaluations, visits, and progress in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner.
• Communicate patient progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the care team and physician.
• Supervise COTAs in accordance with state guidelines.
• Participate in care planning, case conferences, and discharge planning.
