Job summary

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide in-home OT services in Northern California's Bay Area. You will supervise a COTA, collaborate with a clinical team, and deliver patient-centered care in homes across Alameda/Contra Costa Counties.

Full-time or part-time/per diem opportunities exist, with a $2,500 hiring bonus for full-time and $500 for part-time, plus a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff and potential profit-sharing through Obran

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master's or Doctorate)
• Active California Occupational Therapist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes
• Home Healthcare experience
• Experience documenting in the Kinnser/WellSky EMR preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy evaluations and treatments according to the physician's plan of care
• Assess patients' strength, coordination, mobility, and ability to function safely at home
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and progress
• Help patients improve independence with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, mobility, and home safety
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safe movement
• Document evaluations, visits, and progress in EMR in a timely manner
• Communicate patient progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the care team and physician
• Supervise COTAs in accordance with state guidelines
• Participate in care planning, case conferences, and discharge planning
