In-Home Nurse Assessor (Per Diem) – Geriatric Evaluations

Job summary

The Helper Bees is seeking Independent Contracted Nurses to join our network as nurse assessors. Assessments are completed face to face in claimants' homes to support quality care for older adults. This per diem, 1099 contract position pays $125 per assessment within a 35 mile radius based on completed work.

Candidates are RN with 5+ years of geriatric experience, strong technology skills, reliable internet, and the ability to document findings accurately and promptly after each visit.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience.
• Familiarity with medications and geriatric care.
• Reliable internet access.
• Willingness to travel to client homes within 35 miles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and functional assessments in clients' homes.
• Complete structured assessments accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate scheduling with client or contact.
• Submit assessments within 24 hours; respond to clarifications within 48 hours.
