Job summary

The Helper Bees is seeking Independent Contracted Nurses to perform in-home nurse assessments. Assessments are conducted face-to-face in claimants’ homes, with a 1099 contract and reimbursement of $125 per assessment within a 35-mile radius.

Applicants should have 5+ years as an RN, strong geriatric knowledge, reliable internet, and the ability to coordinate scheduling and complete timely online submissions. A portable computer or tablet is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers and current technology.
• Previous QA or chart audit/review experience.
• 5+ years as an RN with geriatrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home cognitive and functional assessments.
• Complete structured assessments focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
• Observe and report current status of individuals objectively.
• Coordinate scheduling with clients or contacts.
• Submit assessments within 24 hours via online application; respond to clarifications within 48 hours.
