Job summary

The Helper Bees is seeking an Independent Contracted Nurse to join our growing network for per diem home assessments. Assessments are completed face to face in the claimant’s homes, with a focus on objective, thorough cognitive and functional evaluations.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with 5+ years of geriatric experience, are tech‑savvy, and can submit assessments within 24 hours. This 1099 contract offers $125 per assessment within a 35‑mile radius.

Qualifications

• RN with 5+ years geriatric care and medication knowledge.
• Current active RN license required.
• Proficient with Windows tablets/computers.
• Independent contractor status (1099) preferred.
• Reliable internet connection for submitting assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home cognitive and functional assessments.
• Complete structured assessments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Observe and report the current health status of each client.
• Coordinate scheduling with clients and contacts.
• Submit assessments within 24 hours; reviewers will follow up within 48 hours.
