In-Home Geriatric Nurse Assessor (Per Diem)

Job summary

The Helper Bees is seeking Independent Contracted Nurse Assessors to perform in-home cognitive and functional assessments for clients within a 35 mile radius. This per diem 1099 contract requires a portable Windows laptop or tablet with a camera and reliable internet.

Assessments are completed face to face in the claimant’s homes; you’ll submit within 24 hours and be contacted within 48 hours for any clarifications. Pay is $125 per assessment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• 5+ years RN experience.
• Familiarity with medications and geriatric conditions.
• Ability to travel to client homes and maintain objectivity.
• Proficient with computers and submitting assessments online.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home cognitive and functional assessments.
• Submit assessments within 24 hours; review clarifications within 48 hours.
• Coordinate scheduling with client or contact person.
• Assessments are completed face to face in claimants' homes.
