Job summary

Family Best Care is seeking an experienced caregiver for an in-home assignment on Harstine Island, Shelton, WA. The role provides one-on-one care for a client with memory care needs, with a consistent Wednesday–Friday schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Committed caregiver applicants should be compassionate, patients, and reliable, able to maintain routines, and effectively communicate with families and office staff.

Qualifications

• Previous professional caregiving experience.
• Experience with memory care or dementia.
• Reliable transportation to and from Harstine Island.
• Reliable phone access for work-related communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage client.
• Support memory care needs with patience and reassurance.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene.
• Maintain consistent daily routines and meal intake.
• Provide mobility assistance and fall prevention support.
• Monitor changes and report to office.
• Complete light housekeeping related to care.
• Follow care plan and document accurately.
