Job summary

Family Best Care is seeking an experienced caregiver for an ongoing in-home care assignment on Harstine Island, Shelton, WA. The role offers a consistent weekday schedule, caring for a client with memory care needs in a one-on-one setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, meals and hydration, and careful documentation per care plan. Applicants should be reliable, punctual, and able to commute daily to the client’s home.

Qualifications

• Professional caregiving experience
• Memory care experience or ability to support memory-impaired client
• Calm, patient, attentive and consistent communication

Responsibilities

• Provide memory care support, companionship and meaningful engagement
• Help with daily routines including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and hygiene as needed
• Support safe mobility, transfers and fall prevention per care plan
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration and nutrition
• Monitor changes in client condition and communicate with office promptly
• Complete light housekeeping related to client care and maintain documentation

Education

Washington HCA, CNA, or NAC credential
