Job summary

Impact to Health in Menominee, MI is seeking a compassionate Customer Service Technician to deliver, set up, and maintain essential medical equipment in patients' homes, while providing clear education that helps patients and caregivers feel confident and supported.

In this role you will travel to patient homes, coordinate insurance verification, handle intake duties, and ensure accurate documentation for billing and care coordination, with a focus on empathy and safety.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment with a patient-first mindset.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on equipment use, safety, and maintenance.
• Offer compassionate, phone and in-person support for questions and concerns.
• Complete all delivery forms, documentation, and patient instructions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized company vehicle.
• Coordinate insurance verification and explain coverage to patients.
• Manage intake responsibilities including calls, referrals, and charts.
• Observe and communicate additional patient needs, advocating for comfort and safety.
• Prepare accurate files and documentation for billing and operations.
• Provide courteous service to walk-in patients and referral sources.
• Troubleshoot equipment concerns with patience and clarity.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and regulations.
• Participate in on-call assignments as needed.
• Work with team to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely service.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care.
