Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, install, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes and clinics. You will educate patients and caregivers, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Primarily field-based with daily home visits across the assigned area, the role requires a valid driver's license and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues, including during emergencies when required.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs; report hazards or incidents.
