Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes. You will handle packing, delivery, and pickup, and may instruct patients on equipment use within state requirements.

Essential duties include loading and unloading gear, completing logs, and notifying supervisors of home safety concerns. A valid driver’s license and reliable driving history are required, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year related delivery/healthcare experience.
• Must be 21+ years old and have 3+ years driving history.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup medications, supplies and basic equipment to patients.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory and DME equipment as needed.
• Load/unload equipment from delivery vehicle and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Complete delivery logs and necessary paperwork; report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain patient profiles and update paperwork accordingly.
