Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to provide in-home delivery of durable medical equipment. You will pull, pack, deliver and pick up supplies, and may instruct patients on basic equipment use within licensure limits. This role requires a valid driver's license and a strong focus on safety.

duties include vehicle maintenance, completing required paperwork, and responding to urgent delivery needs. A high school diploma and at least one year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., FDA and accrediting body standards.
• English (reading, writing, verbal) required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home.
• Pull, pack, deliver and pick up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory and other equipment as allowed by licensure.
• Load/unload equipment onto delivery vehicle and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call as needed.
• Complete paperwork including daily delivery logs and forms; update patient profiles.
