Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Technician to bring durable medical equipment to patients' homes. You will load, deliver, and pick up items, and explain basic use of respiratory and infusion equipment, while maintaining delivery logs and patient profiles.

You will ensure safety through state licensure standards and perform routine vehicle checks, requiring a valid driver’s license and DOT-compliant driving history and completion of driver training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year related experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of three years driving history.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instructs patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and durable medical equipment.
• Loads and unloads equipment onto delivery vehicle and maintains logs.
• Responds to delivery calls during business hours and on-call basis.
• Performs routine vehicle maintenance and reports malfunctions.
