Job summary

Accendra Health seeks a Delivery Technician to bring durable medical equipment to patients’ homes. You will load, deliver, and rotate equipment, and assist with basic setup and patient orientation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of related experience, and a minimum of 3 years driving history. You must be 21+ and hold a valid driver’s license. DOT and regulatory compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related experience required.
• Must be 21+ years old at hire.
• Minimum 3 years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment to patients' homes.
• Pull, pack, deliver and pick up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and DME.
• Load/unload equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call.
• Complete delivery logs and forms; update patient profiles.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Notify supervisor of unsafe home environments or abuse.
