Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to transport and deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes. The role includes packing, loading, and assisting with basic equipment use, with on-call emergency deliveries as needed.

Responsibilities include completing daily delivery logs, maintaining patient profiles, and reporting unsafe home conditions. A valid driver’s license and DOT/FDA-related compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age at hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment to patients in the home.
• Pull, pack, deliver and pick up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory and other equipment as approved.
• Load/unload equipment onto delivery vehicle and perform routine maintenance.
• Complete paperwork including delivery logs and forms.
• Maintain patient profile supply components and report unsafe home conditions.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call.

Education
