Job summary

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team seeks a Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to perform in-home diagnostic services across various U.S. locations. This per diem, travel-based role offers flexible hours with no minimum visits, paid hourly including travel time, and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, EKGs, and macular edema screenings; travel up to 100 miles is required. Certification is preferred; a valid driver’s license and background checks are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings required.
• At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred.
• Certification as a CMA or CPT preferred.
• WA or LA state CMA/CPT license required if located in WA/LA.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds to transport medical or diagnostic equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 100 miles to conduct patient visits.
• Proficiency with medical equipment and proper documentation practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; driving record review before hire.
• Must complete a drug screening and background check after offer.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transporting specimens per network policies and regulatory standards.
• Comply with laboratory safety procedures; ensure delivery to designated laboratories.
• Conduct screenings trained to perform, including EKGs and macular edema screenings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and manage transport/storage of supplies.
• Monitor and manage clinical supply inventory.
• Coordinate with IQVIA’s clinical coordination team to complete visit-related paperwork promptly.
• Identify and report adverse events or patient inquiries per IQVIA guidance.
• Maintain accurate mileage and time logs for reimbursement and compliance purposes.
