Job summary

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team seeks a Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to perform in-home diagnostics such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and edema screenings. This per diem travel role offers flexible hours, with no minimum monthly visits, and compensation includes appointment and travel time.

Training is provided for specialized screenings. The position requires phlebotomy experience, EKG familiarity, and a valid driver’s license, with willingness to travel up to 100 miles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings.
• At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred.
• Certification as CMA or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.
• For WA or LA, a state CMA or CPT license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds to transport equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.
• Proficiency with medical equipment and proper documentation practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; driving record will be reviewed.
• Must complete drug screening and background check after offer.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transporting according to policies and standards.
• Comply with laboratory safety and handling procedures; deliver to designated laboratories.
• Conduct EKGs and macular edema screenings (training provided).
• Maintain a clean, organized in-home work area and manage supplies/logistics.
• Monitor and manage clinical supply inventory.
• Coordinate with IQVIA’s clinical team to submit visit-related paperwork promptly.
• Identify and report adverse events or product complaints per guidance.
• Maintain mileage and time logs for reimbursement and compliance.
