In-Home Master Personal Trainer (Sales & Assessment Manager)
Location: Pleasanton. Full‑time. Locally owned and operated.
Compensation: $40–$60 per hour plus performance bonuses and growth opportunities.
Schedule: Flexible—full time preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound leads and phone calls using RingCentral.
- Schedule and confirm complimentary fitness assessments.
- Conduct in‑home or on‑site fitness assessments.
- Recommend training programs and close training package sales.
- Maintain a high conversion rate from assessment to client.
- Conduct mid‑program reassessments, track progress, and recommend additional training packages.
- Ensure clients achieve measurable results.
- Collaborate with trainers to ensure proper program design, assist with programming for new clients, and uphold brand standards and client experience expectations.
- Manage scheduling and assessments through GYMGUYZ software systems and maintain accurate client notes and documentation.
- Drive the GYMGUYZ van when required.
- Participate in local marketing efforts such as van drives, community events, information tables, partnership visits, and local business introductions.
- Support grassroots marketing activities including lead generation and community wellness events.
Qualifications
- CPR/AED certification.
- 3+ years personal training experience.
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
- Ability to connect with clients and build trust.
- Professional communication skills.
- Experience in fitness sales or membership sales.
- Experience conducting assessments and closing training packages.
- Leadership or mentoring experience with other trainers.
