Job summary
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a patient in their home in the Susquehanna, PA area. Qualifications
- Active PA LPN license required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment.
- Private duty/home health or pediatric nursing experience preferred.
- Must meet Maxim onboarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care per physician orders and plan of care.
- Monitor and assess patient health status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Measure and document vital signs and patient progress.
- Observe and report changes to the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Educate patients and families on care and health management.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
