Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a patient in their home in the Scranton, PA area. This role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay, with opportunities to build a strong, trusting relationship with the patient and family.

The LPN will follow physician orders, monitor patient health, administer medications, and educate caregivers on health management.

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania LPN license.
Current CPR certification.
Strong clinical and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's orders and plan of care.
Monitor and assess patient health status.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
Measure and document vital signs and patient progress.
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Educate patients and family members regarding care and health management.
Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained.
Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team to provide quality care.
