A Bright Future, Inc. is seeking compassionate Community Living Instructors to empower individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will provide hands-on instruction, daily living support, and community integration in Burbank and surrounding areas.

The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and personalized guidance, with paid training and ongoing supervision. Join a mission-driven team delivering meaningful, person-centered care in customers' homes and local communities.

Qualifikationen

• 18 years of age or older
• Drug Screening
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Negative TB test

Aufgaben

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community settings.
• Teach and reinforce independent living skills: personal hygiene, meal preparation, household tasks, time management.
• Support participants in developing social, communication, and self-advocacy skills.
• Assist with community activities: shopping, medical appointments, outings, transportation training as applicable.
• Monitor safety, follow support plans, assist with medication reminders (as trained).
• Complete accurate documentation: daily notes, incident reports, progress updates.
• Communicate with supervisors and families; follow confidentiality and agency policies.
