Job summary

A Bright Future, Inc. is seeking compassionate Community Living Instructors (CLIs) to support individuals with disabilities in Santa Monica and surrounding areas. You will provide direct care, teach independent living skills, and promote safety and community integration.

No prior experience required; mandatory paid training provided. Compensation starts at $19.15 per hour, with opportunities to grow as you empower participants to live safely and independently in their homes and communities.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
• Negative TB test
• DOJ fingerprint clearance prior to employment
• Genuine passion for caregiving and supporting individuals with disabilities

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals in homes and community settings
• Teach and reinforce independent living skills (hygiene, nutrition, household tasks, time management)
• Support development of social, communication, and self-advocacy skills
• Assist with community activities, appointments, and transportation training
• Document daily notes, incident reports, and progress updates; communicate with supervisors and families
