Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking compassionate In Home Housekeepers or Caregivers to support seniors with daily activities and companionship. The role includes light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility assistance, and transportation support, with the chance to grow skills through dementia/alzheimer’s care training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Do client shopping or accompany them shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.

In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver Requirements
