Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking a compassionate In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper to support seniors in the Central Illinois area. You will assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility support, transportation, and personal care, while building meaningful relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medications as needed.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the home or outside.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Assist with routine exercises and mobility.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients when able.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as required.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
