Job summary

Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking an in-home housekeeper or caregiver to assist seniors in the Central Illinois area, providing companionship and daily living support with light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility assistance, and transportation when needed.

We offer flexible hours (full-time, part-time, PRN), weekly pay, a $400 sign-on bonus, and ongoing training through our caregiver mentor program. A vehicle and driver's license are preferred to support local visits.

In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
