Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinarians to serve pet families across Metropolitan Pittsburgh and Washington, PA. You’ll earn $85,000-$125,000 with a flexible schedule and no non-compete, delivering end-of-life care in clients’ homes.

Licensure in PA is required or eligible, with the ability to travel between appointments. This role suits vets seeking autonomy, work-life balance, and meaningful patient-family moments outside of a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• DVM, VMD, BVMS, or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Active Pennsylvania veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care with compassionate communication.
• Manage end-of-life conversations and pain relief plans for pets and families.
• Work independently with scheduling that you control, including rotational weekend coverage.
