Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Texas is hiring In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families in San Antonio, Hollywood Park and Bulverde area. Join a private, doctor-led practice that prioritizes autonomy and meaningful relationships over traditional clinic tempo.

As a mobile veterinarian, you’ll provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia with empathy and clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Must hold DVM, VMD, BVMS, or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in the state(s) where services will be provided or eligibility.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel between appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality‑of‑life support, and euthanasia within your service area.
• Independently travel to scheduled appointments and work in a mobile veterinary setting.
• Perform exams, clinical assessments, medication administration, sedation, euthanasia, and related services.
