Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct personal care and supportive services to patients in their homes under RN direction and in accordance with each patient’s care plan. This role involves caring for patients across all age groups, adhering to safety standards, and documenting care within 24 hours of visits.

The position requires current Georgia CNA certification and is focused on home health services with travel throughout the designated

Qualificações

• Has successfully completed Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Renders direct personal care and other supported services to patients.
• Cares for patients across age groups from infant to geriatric.
• Adheres to patient safety goals and care plans.

Responsabilidades

• Provides personal care such as bathing, hygiene, mouth care, as directed by the plan of care.
• Assists patient with ADLs and maintains a clean environment.
• Utilizes proper body mechanics and supports patient positioning and comfort.
• Performs light housekeeping in patient homes as directed by the RN.
• Documents care rendered within 24 hours of visit with high accuracy.
• Drives to service sites and adheres to safe driving practices.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities as directed.
• Reports problems/concerns to RN/Patient Care Manager.
• Helps patients achieve ADL goals and communicates changes in patient status.
