Haywood Hospice, part of the LHC Group, and within the Optum family, is seeking a Home and Community Based Services Aide to support in-home hospice patients in Haywood, Jackson, and Buncombe counties, NC.

This PRN position requires an NC CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and prior home-based hospice experience. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 to $22.60.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina CNA certification is required.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
• 6+ months of home care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, medication reminders).
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
