Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on support to patients in their homes under RN supervision. You will assist with personal care, daily activities, and promote comfort and dignity in end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care in patients' homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Record vitals and report to the nurse on the care team.
• Support meal planning, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Maintain clear and accurate care documentation.
