Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary care team. You will provide hands-on, one-on-one support to patients in their homes under RN supervision, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life at the end of life.

The role emphasizes personal care, travel to patient homes, accurate documentation, and collaboration with caregivers. Full-time schedule with weekends rotation and benefits including insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Travel to patient homes and provide care as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and daily activities.
• Promote comfort, dignity, and safety for patients at end of life.
• Document services provided and communicate with RN and care team.
