Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring an evening home health aide in the St. Cloud area. Primary hours are 3pm–11pm with additional hours available. Wage begins at $18/hour, $20/hour if Certified Nursing Assistant; free CNA classes after 5 months.

Part-time and full-time hours are available based on your schedule. You will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes, with duties including daily living support, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hand-on personal cares including dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, laundry, etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving and mobility assistance.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares.

About the Job
