Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring an evening home health aide to serve clients in the St. Cloud area. Primary hours are 3pm to 11pm with additional hours available. Wage begins at $18 per hour, with $20 per hour for Certified Nursing Assistants.

Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy. Part-time and full-time hours are available based on your schedule. Responsibilities include in-home care, daily living assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship,

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.
