Job summary

The Occupational Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for older adults, working 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. This onsite contract supports therapy in patients' homes or in independent living facilities, with a flexible schedule and varied settings.

Responsibilities include supervising assistants, adhering to schedules, and developing patient-centered treatment plans, with emphasis on restoring function and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students as allowed by licensure.
• Adhere to department schedules and ensure timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Attend patient care and staff meetings and coordinate with the rehab team.
• Evaluate patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and document progress in the home or facility setting.
