Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse with at least one year in-home health or geriatric nursing.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Maintains appropriate active nursing license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds regularly.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and supervise residents per individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and document findings.
• Communicate changes to Health Services Director and nursing staff.
• Administer medications and treatments per community policies.
• Ensure resident privacy, dignity, and a safe environment.
• Assist in supervision of resident assistants and ADL support.
• Maintain infection control procedures and safety compliance.
