Job summary

SAFY of America, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a full-time Lead Case Manager to oversee a caseload of foster youth and families.

You will guide the divisional case management team, provide supervision, and coordinate services with youth, foster parents, and partners to preserve families and secure futures. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, LSW or LPC, 3–5 years of experience in human services, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in field of social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, child and family studies, etc.
• LSW or LPC required.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in human services or child welfare.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage to meet travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the divisional case management team and provide guidance to staff.
• Hire, train and onboard assigned staff; conduct monthly supervision.
• Provide supervisory backup for needs of foster parents and case management staff.
• Travel daily to provide in-home, community-based services to families and youth in caseload.
• Complete referral reviews and intake assignments; communicate service availability to clients.
• Develop and ensure completion of assessments including ITPs, PSDs and Mental Health Services Plans.
• Document outcomes of home visits and safety assessments; report as required by policy and contract.
