Bath & Floor Stiles is seeking a Flooring Sales Specialist to meet homeowners in their homes, assess needs, and guide selections from engineered wood to luxury tile. The role focuses on flooring expertise and closing deals, with company-generated leads and the opportunity to grow earnings through referrals.

The position emphasizes in-home visits, sales-driven performance, and collaboration with operations and installation teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Flooring sales experience in retail/showroom/in-home sales.
• Deep knowledge of hardwood, engineered, LVP, laminate, tile and carpet.
• Ability to measure spaces and identify subfloor/moisture issues.
• Strong consultative selling and closing skills.
• Comfortable meeting homeowners in their homes.
• Professional communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally and some evening/weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners for in-home flooring consultations.
• Assess goals, needs, budget, and timeline.
• Recommend flooring options (hardwood, engineered, LVP, laminate, tile, carpet).
• Explain product options, project scope, pricing, and next steps.
• Take measurements and assess subfloor/site conditions.
• Prepare and present estimates and proposals.
• Coordinate with office, operations, and installation teams.
• Generate opportunities through referrals and local prospecting.
