Floor Coverings International Winter Garden is seeking a Design Associate to meet clients in their homes, present flooring options, and close sales. This full-time role rewards self-motivation, strong communication, organization, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of a team.

You will use company resources such as a mobile showroom, van, and tablet to estimate projects, coordinate installations, and build relationships through networking events.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in-home and/or outside sales.
• Strong drive to exceed sales targets.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Competitive spirit and strong drive to succeed.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Networking experience.
• Effective public speaking and confident presence.
• Knowledge of flooring, construction, or design is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Availability for homeowner appointments in evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for all types of flooring service requests.
• Visit client homes to discuss flooring projects.
• Follow the Sales System with devices and software.
• Coordinate installation times and communication schedule with Office Manager/Project Manager.
• Assist with ordering of products.
• Communicate customer needs to Install Manager.
• Return to finished jobs for final walk-through and payment collection.
• Re‑visit finished jobs 5–10 days later to inspect, capture reference photos, and request referrals.
• Engage in ongoing training/educational requirements (may involve travel at company expense).
• Participate in BNI, Chambers, and other networking events to build relationships.
• Generate 50% of own leads after 6 months of employment (company will provide guidance).
• Attend weekly Level 10 team meetings and sales meetings
• Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
• Respond quickly to customer requests
• Work in a team environment and communicate effectively
