Youth for Change is seeking a Home Visitor I/II in Chico/Oroville, CA to perform in-home visiting for families with young children. This full-time role focuses on child development information, healthy pregnancy guidance, parenting skills, developmental screening, and connecting families with community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in an applicable field.
• Experience in early learning environment, early childhood education, case management, or home visiting with families having young children ages 0-5.

Responsibilities

• The Home Visitor provides in-home (or at a neutral site) home visiting services to families with children ages prenatal to three, focusing on child development information, healthy pregnancy information, parenting skill development, developmental screening, resource and referral, and case management.
• The Home Visitor may assist in facilitating parenting groups and group family activities. Travel around Butte County is required.
