Job summary

Start Corporation in Baton Rouge seeks a Mental Health Therapist to deliver Functional Family Therapy in homes and community settings, facilitating positive growth for families. You will work with parents and children to implement evidence-based interventions while documenting progress and coordinating care.

The role requires travel to client homes, ability to work evenings/weekends, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to maintain model fidelity and improve family functioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a Bachelor Degree in social services.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service delivery aligns with Evidence Based Model.
• Maintain flexible weekly schedule to meet client families' needs.
• Participate in weekly consultation and supervision.
• Provide services while maintaining fidelity to Evidence Based Model.
• Meet guidelines for submission of notes into the EHR.
• Commitment to the Evidence Based Model.
• Data entry into agency's EHR and Evidence Based Model’s systems.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals/populations.
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain client and employee confidentiality.
• Requires working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Work is performed in an office environment, the community and client homes.
• Requires extensive travel to client homes and throughout the community.
• Involves exposure to tobacco smoke, domestic animals, household pests, and other conditions common to domestic environments.
• Provide at least 60 units of billable services per week (FFT).
