Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Parent Aide/Educator to support families in New Hampshire through in-home services coordinated with the DCYF. The role involves collaboration with the clinical team to create and implement treatment plans and to document progress for accountability and safety.

As a full-time position, you will provide parent education, supervised visitation, and community-based support, with flexible afternoon/evening hours and a focus on family-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 4 years minimum experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting.
• Associates degree with 2 years minimum experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship not offered at this time.
• Access to high speed, secure internet required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned caseload and ensures proper in-home service delivery as per referrals by DCYF.
• Collaborates with DCYF to respond to referrals, create treatment plans, participate in meetings, and document progress.
• Develops treatment plans with measurable goals in partnership with families and DCYF.
• Ensures documentation requirements are met, including assessments and reports.
• Communicates progress to court through appearances and written reports.
• Provides parent education and supervised visitation in home and community settings.
• Offers parent coaching to support healthcare and educational needs of children.
