The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking a Caseworker (In-Home Family Specialist) to support families in a hybrid, community-based role in Butler, PA. The position focuses on safety, well-being, and permanency, developing service plans and teaching parenting skills while connecting families to community resources.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, creating service plans, delivering parent education, coordinating resources, and transporting clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or relevant Human Service field.
• Minimum of one year experience in Child Welfare.
• Act 33/34 Clearances and FBI Clearance.
• Valid driver's license with insurance.

Responsabilités

• Assess client needs using formal and informal evaluations and referrals.
• Develop and implement individual service plans reflecting parenting and community resources needs.
• Provide parent education using evidence-based curricula as needed.
• Provide formal and informal community resources to clients.
• Transport clients to appointments as needed.
