Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to support youth and families in a home-based setting. The role involves direct family sessions, ongoing assessments, and collaboration with courts and other providers to develop a coordinated treatment plan.

The position requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a social services discipline, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel up to 80 miles for home visits. Travel reimbursement is provided and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred, Bachelor’s required in social services field.
• Experience with at‑risk youth or families is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 4–6 families.
• Holds individual and family sessions 3 times weekly.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and supervision.
• Drives 60–80 miles to meet families at home or in the community.
• Provides on‑call crisis support and timely EMR documentation.
