Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Home Services Sales Consultant focused on outside sales to customers’ homes and at industry events. You will travel to client locations, assess needs, and present tailored product solutions with warranty and financing options.

You will also handle paperwork, measure specs, and develop new customer relationships to grow the HDIS pipeline. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of related experience, strong sales skills, and comfort with technology and field work.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• Preferred in-home or virtual sales experience, and familiarity with home improvement industry.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer homes to conduct outside sales presentations and build relationships.
• Develop and negotiate customized price quotes; present warranty and financing options.
• Complete sales contracts and paperwork; measure product specifications for installation.
• Prospect new customers inside THD stores and at industry events; nurture referrals.
• Educate store associates on HDIS offerings and programs to drive sales.
